Childhood immunizations and adult immunizations are available. For an immunization schedule for children see the link below. Immunizations that are recommended by the Missouri Department of Health are provided at the Dent County Health Center. Please bring shot records to each visit.
Influenza shots are given during the annual flu season from about September to March.

Prenatal Case Management
Case management and pregnancy education for high-risk, medicaid eligible pregnant women
The Safe Cribs for Missouri program provides portable cribs and safe sleep education to low-income families who have no other resources for obtaining a crib. The program is administered by the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) through federal funding from the Maternal Child Health Services Block Grant (Title V) and state funding from the Children’s Trust Fund. The overall goal of the program is to support families and reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.
Pregnancy tests are available upon request.

Temporary Medicaid Cards
A temporary Medicaid Card can be issued to pregnant women who qualify under federal guidelines. These cards provide for outpatient care.
Dent County Health Center functions as part of a larger overall community emergency response effort involving local government officials, first responders, public service agencies, and other local partners to protect the health and well-being of all county citizens in the event of disasters or public health emergencies.
